Who is Eidolon?

Elisabeth Wessels is the founder and principal consultant of Eidolon Strategy. She started Eidolon after she relocated to Washington D.C. from The Netherlands with her husband and two children in 2005. Elisabeth has a background in finance, information technology and business development and has worked in the public and private sector.

She started her career in finance working for the Dutch government in The Hague as a senior financial officer. She then joined CGI where she managed large IT projects and became passionate about technology and innovation. After her relocation to the U.S. she founded Eidolon Strategy in 2006 and decided to make her passion her career and focus her work on helping early stage high tech companies to grow their business in North America. She partnered with software, virtual reality and robotics companies in healthcare in the past 15 years and successfully grew their business in the US and Canada.

Elisabeth holds a BSc in Economics of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands and a MSc in Public Policy, Administration, Organization & Management of the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
